Simrit Walia, MD
Dr. Simrit Walia is a Medical Oncologist with Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Oncology. He received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech.
Simrit is trained in all aspects of hematology and oncology. He has a special interest in solid tumor thoracic oncology, and clinical research.
He has a deep passion for AI, bio-tech, fin-tech, cryptocurrency and decentralization in blockchain technologies.
In his free time, Simrit enjoys reading, championing his fantasy football teams, and spending time with his family.
Pree Walia
Pree Walia is the founder and CEO of Preemadonna. Preemadonna builds AI powered nail and body art experiences including the flagship Nailbot which prints art and photos on nails in five seconds. Pree is a current Tech EIR at Jumpstart and was also an EIR at Startup San Diego. Pree was named one of the top 25 Women in Robotics to know by Robohub and served on the Board of MakerGirl (nonprofit focused on powering girls in STEM). She holds 9+ utility patents.
Pree previously worked at high growth venture backed start-ups focused on connected devices and building automation services. She holds a MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA from Northwestern University.
Pree enjoys watching football, playing tournament style Texas Hold ‘Em No Limit Poker, reading with her book clubs and going for long runs.
